When high street coffee giant Caffe Nero wanted to enhance the payment and loyalty experience for its customers in the UK and Ireland, Yoyo created and launched a revolutionary app experience that would provide a seamless mobile payment method, automated loyalty stamp collection and digital receipts for customers - taking just 1.5 seconds at the point-of-payment!
Launched in April 2017, the app has taken the #1 Food & Drink spots on Apple`s App Store and Google Play, it`s been downloaded by over 300,000 customers, and there`s already an average of 60,000+ super-fast transactions handled each day.
Since the app`s launch, Caffe Nero has been able to significantly drive customer behaviour using Yoyo`s unique campaign and customer insights platform, Yoyo Engage. Its summer campaign to increase iced drinks purchases led to a 148% increase in baskets that contained an Iced Drink, a 215% rise on customers who bought an Iced Drink, a 212% increase of spend on baskets containing an Iced Drink, and a 26% rise on the average transaction value (ATV) containing an Iced Drink - all in just one week!
