Cafe Trials Robotic Barister

Technology for coffee shops all around the world are accelerating full force ahead, with no sign of stopping any time soon. A café in Melbourne, Australia, are currently testing a completely manual robotic barista to meet the needs of their thirsty customers. 

The robot, named ‘Rocky’, has full range of human-like gestures and can even cater to your specific needs. An employee of the café even mentioned that the robot is able to make a coffee and serve customers almost as well as a human behind the counter. 

The robot is still in trial and training, therefore the process may be slower then normal. However, the café expects to launch a fully functional robotic barrister into action as soon as possible. On the plus side, the café is giving away free coffee’s during the trial!
