The pandemic has placed our Restaurant Partners, and the whole hospitality industry, under extraordinary pressures since last March. Right from the outset of the crisis we’ve wanted to ensure that  we play a part in helping to ease the impact of coronavirus on our network. That’s why Just Eat has been offering Restaurant Partners a range of support measures. 

Free Legal & Tax advice with Markel

Restaurant Partners now have access to 12 months’ free membership for tax and everyday legal advice which, during the pandemic, have never been more important.  The legal advice covers issues around furlough and the Job Retention Scheme, debt queries and more.

FREE Online course in COVID security

Restaurant Partners have been invited to take part in an online course, designed to help them create safe conditions for staff returning to work in hospitality. This eLearning course covers COVID-secure practices for working with customers, handling goods and money, point of sale areas, managing queues, table service and food delivery.

Free PPE and COVID secure bundles

Restaurant Partners received Just Eat Shop credit for the purchase of essential PPE such as face masks, gloves and hand sanitiser. The COVID secure packs included signage to remind customers of social distancing rules, floor stickers, face shields and sneeze guards. All of this was gifted so that Restaurant Partners could continue to do what they do best and serve their customers in a COVID secure way.

Throughout the crisis, partners have also been provided with regular updates on the latest government announcements affecting their businesses.  

To date, Just Eat has given nearly £20m worth of support to our Restaurant Partners through a number of support measures and to the wider community through charitable initiatives.
